We believe that Christian Education is a cornerstone of discipleship. Through our Christian Education program, we strive to offer opportunities for parishioners to encounter Scripture together, pray together, and discern how God is calling us, both as individuals and as the church, to grow in faith. We welcome people from every background and experience level to share their unique perspective so that, together, we might learn more about who God is calling us to be. We believe that learning more about God as we learn from, help, and interact with each other is a life-long opportunity and joy…we hope you will share the journey of discipleship with us.

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study

Our regular Adult Bible Study meets from 8:30am to 9:30am in the fellowship hall. This lay-led, discussion-oriented class moves through different topics and books of the Bible throughout the year. The study is intentionally “stand alone” in nature, so that visitors or people who can not attend regularly can step right in and participate.

Children's Church

Each Sunday during the school year we offer "Children's Church" during the worship service.  Children are encouraged to participate in the beginning of each worship service with their parents. During the scripture readings, sermon, and prayers of the people, young children go to their own age-appropriate scripture lessons with special crafts and activities. These children are then invited back into the worship service when the Sacraments are celebrated so that they may experience these tangible signs of grace in company with the whole Church.  We have a number of willing teachers ready to lead and love children with a broad curriculum introducing them to God’s love through Scripture.

Other Sunday School and Bible Study Opportunities

Other adult Sunday School Classes, both pastor-led and lay-led, are offered at varying times throughout the year as well. Classes on topics ranging from Contemplative Prayer to our frequent New Members Classes offer varying subjects and approaches throughout the year. Discussion groups in Lent and Advent plus special Bible studies are available every year. Call the church office for more information or consult the events calendar or the newest Parish Sounds for regular updates.

Church Library

Our church has an always-growing selection of over seven hundred books, DVDs, and other media available for checkout. Our librarian is constantly working to add new titles to our collection of classic Christian titles, devotionals, study resources, Christian fiction, and more. The library includes resources for people of all ages, and our reading plan geared particularly for children encourages young readers. Questions and requests are welcome at the church office.
